Do you support students with SEN or additional learning needs?
Yes. Lessons can be adapted for students with different learning needs, confidence levels and learning styles. The aim is to make sessions feel clear, patient and manageable, with time taken to check understanding before moving on.
If your child has SEN, dyslexia, processing difficulties, anxiety around learning, or simply needs a more patient approach, please mention this in the enquiry form so the support can be planned properly from the start.
Do you offer one to one and group sessions?
Yes. One to one tutoring is available for more personalised support, and group sessions can also be arranged where students are working at a similar level or studying the same subject.
Group sessions can work well for siblings, friends, revision groups or students who benefit from learning alongside others. The best option depends on the student’s confidence, goals and subject needs.
Are lessons online or in person?
Both options may be available. In-person tutoring is available in Watford and surrounding areas depending on travel and availability. Online lessons are also available and can be a flexible option for busy families or students who prefer learning from home.
How are lessons usually structured?
Lessons are shaped around what the student needs most. This may include explaining tricky topics, working through examples together, building confidence, practising exam-style questions, improving timing, or reviewing school content that feels unclear.
The focus is on making the student feel comfortable enough to ask questions and confident enough to try.
Can you help with exam preparation?
Yes. Exam preparation can include topic revision, past-paper style questions, mark-scheme technique, timing practice and support with how to structure answers. The approach depends on the subject and exam level.
How do I know what support my child needs?
You do not need to know exactly before getting in touch. The enquiry form asks for the student’s age, subject and what they are finding difficult. From there, the support can be shaped around their current confidence, school topics and upcoming assessments.
How do I enquire?
The easiest way is to fill in the enquiry form with the student’s age, subject, preferred lesson format and what help is needed. You can also get in touch by email, phone or LinkedIn through the Contact page.
